Angela StricklandExecutive Director
Angela (Angie) Strickland is the Executive Director of The Carol Wolfe Foundation. Her firm foundation of faith allows her to serve others and pay forward what has been bestowed upon her. Angie loves to read and exercise and visit! She enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Mark StricklandDirector
Mark Strickland is a director of The Carol Wolfe Foundation. With a lifetime career in the oilfield, he has excelled from the ground up. He currently serves as the Vice President of Operations for Performance Multiflow Solutions in Midland, Texas. Mark’s hobbies include hunting, fishing and yard care. He loves to laugh and spend time with family and friends. He especially enjoys time with his son, Jake. Mark’s talents are many but his generosity is what is most widely admired about him. This allows him to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of generations to come.
Jennifer CalleyDirector
Jennifer Calley has called West Texas home her entire life. The proud daughter of a self-employed Marine veteran and an elementary school teacher, Jennifer’s parents instilled in a her a strong love of God, country, and serving others. She has a heart for history and its preservation, animals, children, and her community. She is a team member of the Godly Girlfriends Retreats Ministry and a member of Believer’s Fellowship Church. Jennifer has worked as an assistant in a variety of fields that has included banking, law, civic, and currently serves as an Account receivables Manager for a safety company. However, her favorite position has been the title of Mom and now as a “Jammie.” In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, exploring antique stores, sharing a laugh with friends, and miscellaneous projects. As a board member, Jennifer looks forward to working with others with a common goal of helping others, improving a situation, and aiding a cause. She believes a team effort can move mountains, encourage improvement, and opens the door to better things.
Bill LaneDirector
Bill Lane is a director of the Carol Wolfe Foundation. He has been a practicing attorney in Lubbock, Texas since 1989 at the McCleskey Law Firm. Bill has proudly served at all levels of leadership in the local Bar in Lubbock, and with various civic organizations. For the last 22 years, Bill has served as a Board Member of Southcrest Christian School as well as a Deacon for Southcrest Baptist Church. Bill’s passion is mentoring and educating our youth today with a Biblical world view to create strong Christian leaders for tomorrow. Bill’s greatest passion is for his family, and ranching in Scurry County, Texas. The cattle ranch has been in the family since 1898, with Bill’s grandchildren making the 6th generation to call the ranch home. Besides being a lawyer, teacher, and rancher, Bill’s favorite title is being Grandpa Boots to his grandchildren.
Laurie Unger, RN, MA, LPCDirector of Development
Laurie is the Director of Development of the Carol Wolfe Foundation and serves Southcrest Christian School as their first Christian Family Life Counselor. She holds a license as a Registered Nurse where she served in Maternal Child, ER and Psychiatric services. Laurie obtained her Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary in 1999. Since that time, she has maintained a private practice, Veritas Counseling Services, and served the Military community as a Military and Family Life Counselor. In this role, she travelled all over the US and Europe to help develop programs to serve the Military Medical community who are traumatized by war. Laurie has extensive experience in treating those with childhood trauma, PTSD, Anxiety and Grief. She moved to Lubbock, TX in 2019 from her native home in San Antonio, TX. Her passions are the care of the Christian community and educating the Body in the values of courage, compassion and honesty as a healing source through the tools of Psychology, Counseling and the Word. She and her husband Bill have 7 children together and love spending time with their grown kids and their 13 grandchildren swimming, reading, and playing and cooking as their adoring Bebow and Lolly.
Lauren O'GuinnLicensed Professional Counselor - Associate
Lauren O’Guinn is our Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate. She has her Master’s in Counseling from Abilene Christian University. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Organizational leadership with a focus in Behavioral Health from Grand Canyon University. Lauren has worked in the counseling field for four years. Prior to that, Lauren has many years of experience working with children as a Youth minister as well as conducting educational groups. As well as seeing clients, Lauren currently works closely with survivors of crime. Lauren has a passion for helping individuals reach their potential, create great mental health and grow their faith. Lauren is seeing clients including children and youth.
